Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Snoozly ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal data and prioritize your privacy:
- Sound Preferences: Your selected sounds and settings are stored locally on your device only.
- Voice Recordings: If you use the voice recording feature, recordings are stored locally on your device. We never upload or access your recordings.
- Analytics & Diagnostics: We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring) to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes. Firebase automatically collects a pseudonymous app-instance identifier together with usage events, device and app information, and crash diagnostics, and transmits them to Google's servers. This data is not linked to your identity, but it is not fully anonymous. This matches our App Store privacy label: "Data Not Linked to You - Usage Data and Diagnostics."
- Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Snoozly app experience
- To fix bugs and improve app stability
- To understand which features are most useful
- To verify Premium subscription status
Data Storage
Your personal content - sound preferences, voice recordings, and settings - is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this content and cannot retrieve it.
Analytics and diagnostics data is processed by Google Firebase on Google's servers, not on your device. Firebase retains this data according to Google's retention settings: event-level usage data is kept for a limited period and then deleted, while aggregated statistics may be retained longer.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance): For pseudonymous usage statistics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. This data is processed by Google as described in the Google and Firebase privacy policies.
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
These services have their own privacy policies that we encourage you to review.
No Ads, No Ad Tracking
Snoozly does not display advertisements and does not use any advertising SDKs. We do not collect data for advertising purposes.
Children's Privacy
Snoozly is designed for parents to use with their babies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is used by parents, not operated by children.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and similar privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access your data
- Delete your data
- Opt out of analytics
- Request a copy of your data
You can delete the content stored on your device by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling stops further collection, but it does not automatically delete analytics and diagnostics data that Firebase has already processed. To request deletion of that data, or to opt out of analytics, contact us at [email protected]. You can also limit ad and tracking identifiers through your device's privacy settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
